Fans Think Taylor Swift & Olivia Rodrigo’s Feud Might Be Over After Pics Emerged Over The W/E

Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift were snapped together at the same event and nature might finally be healing, actually. After years of speculation, stan‑war dissertations and lyrical detective work, the two were seen in the same little social cluster at Paul McCartney’s intimate show in Los Angeles over the weekend, and the internet immediately treated it like a historic summit.

Sir Paul, 83, packed the venue with an almost comically star‑studded crowd, including Olivia, Taylor and even her ex, John Mayer (just to really test the multiverse).

Photos shared by fans and gossip accounts show Taylor and Olivia standing very close to each other in the same group, chatting with other people including Jake Shane and Tate McRae as the night wound down, though it’s still not clear whether they actually spoke or just shared the same extremely loaded pocket of air.

Their presence in the same frame is doing a lot of heavy lifting because of the history. The pair were once loudly supportive of each other before things went quiet after Swift and Jack Antonoff received retroactive songwriting credits on Olivia’s hit “Deja Vu” due to supposed similarities with “Cruel Summer”, something Olivia had already mentioned as an inspiration.

This fuelled ongoing feud rumours, even though Olivia said in a 2023 interview that she didn’t have “beef with anyone”, which many took as her attempting to shut the drama down without pouring more petrol on it.

Naturally, fans wrote their own narrative anyway. One person on TikTok said, “Finally the war is over”, while another celebrated that “OMG thank God like we can put the alleged beef to rest now”.

Of course, some people are not buying the grand reconciliation arc just yet, with one viewer pointing out, “I haven’t seen a single picture of them talking to each other or even looking at each other”, which is a fair call when most of the ‘evidence’ is grainy shots of a bunch of people together.

Another fan summed up the sheer chaos of the room by saying “the amount Taylor lore u have to know to understand the significance of all of these people being here is insane”, given the overlapping exes and alleged feuds packed into one theatre.

Still, between this sighting and Olivia quietly liking a Grammys‑related post about Taylor’s glam in early 2025, plenty of fans are choosing to believe the temperature has shifted back towards something softer and more civil. Maybe Olivia’s rumoured album Love really has nudged a bit more actual love into the ecosystem, so the pop girlies can all get along instead of sending weird signals and veiled threats through songs. It’s what we all deserve!
