Fans swarm Johnny Depp as he leaves Glasgow hotel ahead of Royal Concert Hall gig

Johnny Depp has been spotted being swarmed by fans in Glasgow as he left the Dakota Hotel in the city centre ahead of his gig with pal Jeff Beck on Friday night.

The photo, uploaded by a fan on social media, depicts Johnny waving to his adoring crowd as he left the Dakota Hotel in Glasgow, venturing out into the city before he performs tonight.

The star, who won his defamation case against ex-partner Amber Heard earlier this week, is set to perform with pal Jeff Beck at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow later this evening.

Fans have been pictured sticking their iPhone cameras over security guards and asking for photos with the Pirates of the Caribbean star as he headed out into Glasgow.

Earlier today, Glasgow Live reported that Johnny Depp had been spotted arriving at his Glasgow hotel in the city centre, ahead of his gig at the Royal Concert Hall tonight alongside pal Jeff Beck.

An eyewitness reported that Johnny touched down in Glasgow at 3:15am on Friday morning, and photos provided to Glasgow Live show him being ushered into the Dakota Hotel in the city centre by his security team from his tour bus.

The Hollywood star is scheduled to perform alongside "musical soulmate" Jeff Beck as part of his UK leg of his tour, having made surprise appearances in London, Sheffield and Newcastle earlier this week.

A passerby who spotted Johnny told Glasgow Live: "Johnny looked to be in a very good mood, but his staff quickly ushered him into the hotel.

"It did look as if he wanted to stop to chat to the fans waiting outside, though."

Johnny will appear at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall on Friday, June 3 as part of pal Jeff Beck's UK tour, and tickets are now sold out for this Scottish date.
