Martin Roberts was flooded with messages of love and support from fans and celebrity friends as he shared some sad news on social media. Taking to Instagram on Thursday (March 9), the BBC Homes Under The Hammer presenter struggled to fight back tears in an emotional video as he revealed the tragic passing of his father.
Tearfully, the 59-year-old announced his dad died peacefully at the age of 90. In the candid footage, the TV star described losing a parent is "something we all have to deal with" and explained how "alone and horrible" he felt, the Mirror reports.
"So I don't know if I should really be posting this video or not but, I guess people deal with things in different ways." He said. " This is a very private thing but I kind of just need to surround myself with as many people as I can who care right now.
