Fans react to Love Island introducing two new bombshells during a recoupling in shock twist

Love Island fans were left surprised after two new bombshells arrived in the middle of a recoupling at the end of Wednesday’s episode.

Ellie Spence and Spencer Wilks entered the villa following the Islanders’ 90s-themed party, just as they learned that the guys would be choosing the lady they would like to be partnered with in the next recoupling.

There was a twist, however, as it was revealed that newcomers Ellie, 25, and Spencer, 24, would get their pick of a partner first.

Viewers shared their shocked reactions to the twist on social media.

“Whattttt is happening??? Bombshells during recoupling. These producers are messy,” one person wrote.

A second said: “We thought it was either gonna be a recoupling or bombshells coming in but the producers gave us both.”

A third chimed: “Letting the bombshells pick first?? WAIT PRODUCERS HAVE STEPPED UP!!!”

“How can they bring bombshells in the middle of a recoupling!!!” a fourth wrote, as another added: “Love Island is not playing this season bombshell after bombshell I love it”.

Business development executive Ellie confessed before arriving on Love Island that she “falls in love really quick, but I fall out of it just as quickly” and revealed she’s “ready to find my husband” after being single for “three years”.

The bombshell from Norwich said: “I fall in love quickly because I build up a character of someone in my head and then they breathe in the wrong direction and I’m like, ‘Next!’”

Discussing what turns her off, Ellie stated: “Overconfident guys and men that think they can get any girl when they think they are so fit and a 10/10 when in actual fact they are none of the above.

“I like confidence but not arrogance.”

E-commerce business owner Spencer admitted that he is “very picky” when it comes to relationships, and took the opportunity to go on Love Island as this is his “first time being single”.

The Bournemouth lad shared before his arrival: “It’s a great experience and I’ll be out of my comfort zone, maybe I’ll find someone that I could be with forever and to share that experience with someone I think is quite unique.”

Spencer describes himself as “all-round husband material”, and added that he’s looking for a partner to go “travelling the world with”.

Viewers will find out the results of the recoupling as Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
