On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers seemed to be on their way to their first win of the new season, but they found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Leading 102-95 with less than two minutes left, L.A. couldn’t get stops defensively, and it made a couple of questionable or bad decisions on the other end of the floor.
The fact that the Lakers lost yet again was bad enough, but the fact that they lost to the Portland Trail Blazers, a mediocre team that may not reach the play-in tournament, made the setback even worse.
Across Twitter, Lakers fans are pretty disgusted.
