Fans joke Conor McGregor has found his "plan B" after pouring his own pint

Fans have joked that Conor McGregor could pour pints as a "plan B" to his UFC career after he posted images of a Forged Irish Stout on his social media.

The Irish star is plotting his return to the UFC this summer after his recovery from a broken leg is complete.

McGregor has been on social media enjoying himself over the festive period posting regularly on social media from his Irish pub the Black Forge Inn.

He has now posted a picture of a pint of stout he recently poured which fans have now joked could be an alternative career with one fan commenting : "Your the Barkeeper-Champion of the WORLD ... We are VERY proud of you ... is that your Plan B?"

Another wrote: "As a life long barman that's a good stout pour, the cream always rises to the top!"

One also agreed: "As a Guinness drinker get this out to pubs nationwide. It’s tops. Had about 12 of them last weekend!"

Another requested: "Can you do a shamrock on top? I used to have a pub and got quite good at them."

Meanwhile one fan wanted to return focus to his UFC career : "Enough of the liquor now Mac, we’ve got world titles to win."

However another backed the idea : "The greatest stout to grace the planet. What a creation champ. Is there anything you can’t do?"

McGregor previously promised fans he would stop drinking in a bid to focus on his return to training.

However fans were left unconvinced by his promise and voiced their concern at the impact it could have on his injury recovery.

Fans also joked at a video that emerged on his social media of him eating an ice cream in bed.

He posted a 400-word message alongside the video where he praised the patrons of his pub and thanked his family by dedicating it to them.

The Irish star is known for living his life of luxury and has certainly earned well from his success in the sport.

He is looking to make redemption after sliding down to ninth in the lightweight rankings after back-to-back defeats against Dustin Poirier.

UFC president Dana White has named a trilogy against Nate Diaz as the most likely return fight for McGregor but a number of options are on the table.

The 33-year-old's trainer John Kavanagh is unconcerned by the star enjoying himself and is confident that he will make a return to lightweight despite claiming he weighs 190lbs.

"I don't think it will be all that difficult to be honest," Kavanagh told Fox Sports when asked about McGregor making a weight cut. "He has made some pretty dramatic weight cuts in the past, 155lbs seems to suit his frame.

"The physical stage of recovery is pretty much complete now, you have seen your posts himself. He has been enjoying himself over Christmas but he is ready to get back to that serious side of training and get ready for another contest."
