One Peter Kay fan will be waiting even longer to see the Bolton born Comedian after she accidentally bought tickets to the wrong show. After Peter Kay announced his long-awaited tour earlier this week, fans have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on tickets.
On Wednesday, November 9, fans with access to various pre-sales were left waiting in virtual queues, in their efforts to see if they would be able to snap up some tickets. However one fan was so excited to get tickets, that she accidentally made a disastrous blunder and ordered ten tickets to the wrong show reports The Daily Mirror.
Leah-Dionne Short, from Bingley, West Yorkshire, said she had been waiting "all morning" in a queue on Ticketmaster for tickets to the landmark tour, which will be the first time the comedian has toured the UK in 12 years. Once Leah-Dionne finally got through, she accidentally managed to spend £377 on tickets to see exhibition basketball team the Harlem Globetrotters instead.

In a Facebook post, Leah stated: "I cannot believe I'm actually writing this, but I've been trying to get Peter Kay tickets all morning and I finally got through and the excitement got to me, and I've only gone and bought the wrong ****ing tickets for ***k's sake.
"If anyone wants any tickets to see the Harlem ****ing Globetrotters then let me know, because I've got TEN of the stupid idiot tickets. £377 down and I am laughing, but crying also."
People online have been left in stitches by the post, with many other confused as to how Leah got the two events confused to begin with. One person wrote: "Oh my god. Sorry but that has made me [laugh]. How the hell did u get them confused?"
While another added: "I am absolutely crying laughing!" And a third said: "Oh gosh Leah! How awful for you but so so funny!"
Desperate to swap her tickets out for the Peter Kay show that she actually wanted to see, Leah send a direct message on Instagram to the comedian's official account. She wrote: "Hiya Peter, hope you're well.
"I've had a bit of a nightmare if I'm honest love. I tried to buy 10 tickets for your show which was proving quite difficult, and when I finally did get onto Ticketmaster I was so excited that I've accidentally bought the wrong ones.
"You won't believe it but I've ordered 10 tickets for the Harlem bloody Globetrotters Pete, I've never watched a single game of basketball in my life! What's more messed up is I've ended up spending £370 for the privilege!
"Is there any way you can help me with this at all? Couple of VIPs for my dedication to the garlic bread and cheesecake gags?"
Leah explained that the confusion happened when she tried to access the pre-sale that was being held by her phone provider, Three. She said that she was unaware that not all of the options on the website were related to Peter Kay's tour.
Once she found the venue she wanted to attend she quickly booked the tickets, not realising at the time that it was for a different event. Leah told The Mirror: "I'm with 3 network and was trying to get the pre-sale through there for two hours.
"I finally got on and got my code for Peter Kay pre-sale, and when it took me through to the Ticketmaster website I was so stressed about making sure I got the tickets that I didn't realise that not all the dates and shows listed were for Peter Kay, some were for other events.
"So I just clicked one, selected 10 tickets and paid. It wasn't until after that I realised that 'Harlem Globe Trotters' isn't the name of the stadium the event is at!"
Luckily, despite her hilarious mix up Leah will still be able to see Peter Kay in action as her boyfriend has managed to secure some tickets during another pre-sale.
