Anyone with memories of the late 80s and early 90s in Nottingham will recall G Force clothing, especially the door of their shop on Goose Gate. Designer Robin Kerr started the brand after graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a BA in fashion design.
He established a small studio on Bottle Lane in the late 1970s which was open to the public on the weekend. He is now appealing to anyone with items of clothing or photos to reach out as he is building an archive.
He said: "The problem is, as you build a business, you produce samples and collections all the time with no place to store them. I have a few of the original pieces now but not many.
