I cannot imagine getting a phone call like the one Jack Gear's parents received earlier this year informing them their son had passed away.
Gear, who'd been at a summer camp with the Middle Tennessee Council for the Boy Scouts of America, was riding a Sea-Doo jet ski being driven by one of the camp's employees. During the ride, however, the jet ski collided with another jet ski head-on—being driven by another employee—and killed Gear, along with critically injuring the driver of the Gear's jet ski.
