A devastated family have slammed the 'foolish' actions of a dad who was killed in a horror car crash alongside his 13-year-old daughter.
Daniel Roberts and Lacie Jade Roberts both lost their lives when the BMW they were travelling in smashed into a Flintshire gym in North Wales in the early hours of April 22.
While paying tribute to the tragic teen, heartbroken loved ones said dad Daniel was supposed to "protect her from harm" and not "endanger her life".
The collision, which left three others in hospital with serious injuries, occurred near the junction of the A548 with the A5026 at Bagillt.
A police investigation is currently underway, Manchester Evening News reports.
Lacie, a pupil at Flint High School, was described as a "little angel" with the "prettiest green eyes you would ever see."
Her grieving mum, Kieley Messham, who was separated from Daniel, said: "I love her so much, I need her back. I just need her to be OK.. life will never be right again."
Lacie's aunt, Louise Messham, has set up a fundraising page to raise money to help the mum-of-five, "give Lacie the best send off we can". She wrote: "The crash killed 2 people, they were father and daughter and it also seriously injured 3 others.
"Our beautiful Lacie Jade Roberts has been cruelly taken from us far too soon. You don't expect for this to happen to your family but this time it has, we are really struggling to come to terms with it."
"We have setup this funding page to help Lacie's mum cover the cost of a funeral for her beautiful, bubbly baby, with the prettiest green eyes you would ever see." Louise said Daniel's "foolish actions" had left the family heartbroken.
She wrote: "Our family as you could imagine are broken and shocked at the foolish actions of Daniel that morning, the person who was meant to protect her from any harm, not endanger her life and take her away from us.
"What he has done to us as a family is beyond any pain or hurt we could ever of imagined."
The fundraising page has already exceeded its target and raised more than £9,000.
In a tribute, Lacie's mum, Kieley said: "I can't express in words just how amazing Lacie was, I really can't. She has always been the biggest wind-up merchant in our home but in the best of ways, Lacie just loved making people laugh. Saying that, she found herself hilarious, too.
"I'd do anything to hear that laugh again, literally anything. She had so much about her and I wish I could pour it all out but no words will bring her back home to me, and to us.
"She is loved and forever will be. I never want to not hear her name, and I'll try and keep memories of Lacie alive - whether that be crying or laughing, she will be remembered.
"I cannot get my head around any of this, no mother should have to. Lacie - I'm sorry, I'm lost for words, you're one-of-a-kind and no number of words can express how broken we are that your life was snatched away.
"We all love you and will miss you daily, until we meet again, my mini me - I love you so, so much."
A North Wales Police spokesman said: "We are appealing for any witnesses or those with dashcam footage, that saw a white BMW 330 saloon travelling along the A548 from the Flint direction towards Bagillt, prior to 2.30am to please contact us on 101."
