A Twickenham mother who died following a collision has been remembered as “the most amazing kind-hearted person” by her family.

Elaine Harper, 65, died in hospital days after being critically injured in a collision involving a car and another pedestrian on Green Lane, Feltham, on June 28.

Harper’s daughter said: “She was the most amazing kind hearted person you could ever have in your life. Her entire life was dedicated to looking after everyone else.

“Mum loved her family, her beloved dog Harry, a good book and doing her daily Needle and Wordle puzzles. Most important for her though was knowing that everyone else had everything they needed.

“Our lives have been shattered by losing her and the whole community has been rocked as she was known by so many.”

Another woman, 84, was injured at the scene but survived and continues to recover, Met Police said.

The driver, a 55-year-old woman, stopped at the scene. She was not arrested.

Any witnesses or people with dash cam footage are asked to call Met Police on 020 8543 5157 or 101 quoting 3686/28Jun.
