The heartbroken family of a "loving" grandfather who died following a horror three-vehicle crash in Kingston Park have paid tribute to him saying they have lost their "foundation stone".
Thomas Nicholson tragically passed away following a three-vehicle collision on Brunton Road near the entrance of Newcastle Falcons' Kingston Park stadium at around 3.40pm on Friday, April 29. Emergency services attended the scene and found the 74-year-old who had suffered serious injuries.
The much-loved grandfather of Kenton Bank Foot, who was affectionately known as Tom, later passed away in hospital. And on Thursday his devastated family issued a heartfelt tribute to him and thanked the medical staff at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) who cared for him before his death.
