Family's Christmas Day 'ruined' as they leave gastropub unfed after hour wait for table

A family looking forward to Christmas Day lunch at a gastro pub ended up going home to have jacket potatoes after waiting an hour for their table.

One of the group posted on TripAdvisor under the name 'roff', to say Saxon Mill pub in Warwick had "ruined Christmas Day" for them.

The person said others appeared to be waiting a long time to be seated as well and some of those that did get food complained of wrong orders arriving or dishes arriving cold.
