Family's baby girl saved after receiving six blood transfusions as a newborn

A family have thanked blood donors after their 13-month-old daughter was saved.

Stephanie and Kenny were left worried when Hannah was born prematurely in October last year. She was born with a rare condition and was need of a lot of treatment including two full blood exchanges.

The 36-year-old mum said: “Our daughter Hannah was born prematurely at 34 weeks, weighing exactly 5lbs.
