The family of a nine-year-old boy mauled by a pitbull say he will 'never be the same again' as they release pictures showing the damage done. Alejandro Mizsan was playing on a green at 4pm on Sunday when he was attacked by the dog, which tore into his face.
He also suffered serious leg injuries in the attack in Wexford, reports IrishMirror. The unmuzzled dog was roaming free at the time of the attack.
The sustained attack was only stopped when neighbours driving by saw what was happening and intervened. The mum and her two sons jumped out of the car to scare the dog away and called 999.
