Tributes have been paid to a woman found dead at her home in Kent in May.

A funeral notice for Sonia Maria Parker, 51, said she would be sadly missed and would always be loved by her family and friends.

Police and paramedics were called to a property in Four Elms, Edenbridge, shortly after 8am on 5 May.

A man has been charged with murder in connection with the case. Huseyin Kalyoncu, 33, of Four Elms, who was known to Parker, was arrested and charged with murder. He appeared before Sevenoaks magistrates court on 7 May where he was remanded in custody.

He was due to appear at Maidstone crown court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 9 May.

Parker had reportedly been assaulted and died at the scene.
