The family of a "devoted Newcastle supporter" who died outside St James' Park are raising funds for life-saving defibrillators, one of which hoped to be placed outside the ground.
Bobby Swinney, who was a "friendly, football-mad" family man, suffered a cardiac arrest on his way to watch NUFC on December 19, aged 67.
His grieving family and friends have now planned a 40-person walk from his house in Jarrow to St James' in his memory, and the money raised will fund several pieces of medical equipment.
