The family of missing Dubliner Thomas Flood has urged the public to keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary on beaches and coastlines this weekend.
The 49-year-old has been missing from his home since April 16 and was last seen in Howth that evening. As his disappearance reaches its seventh week, his family has urged beachgoers to keep an eye out for clothes or shoes that may belong to Thomas.
His brother Christopher said that land, sea and air searches have been conducted over the past number of few weeks covering from Dun Laoghaire up as far as Clogherhead. He said it is now "very likely that he is in water".

He wrote on social media: "While the weather is good I want everyone to be mindful when on beaches and the coastlines from Bray and up as far as Louth and possibly further even UK coastlines.
"We have gone to Holyhead and will be travelling soon to Isle of Man and Anglesey Island and continuing our search. If you see anything or find anything out of the ordinary including clothing matching what he was wearing, grey Bubble jacket, dark grey top, dark jeans and brown shoes with a white sole, report it as this could be key to focusing on an area for the Coast guards."
Thomas was seen leaving his home in Dublin 1 at exactly 11:02am on Sunday April 16 before taking the train to Howth from Drumcondra Station..
From there, Thomas went to Howth village and got on a bus to Howth Summit at 12:38 and got off near the Summit Pub at 12:42. His phone was active until around 7pm that evening.
CCTV footage has also captured Thomas close to the time of his disappearance sporting a distinctive blue sports bag.
Thomas is described is being 5 foot 2 in height, of a medium build, has blue eyes and is bald. He was wearing a grey top at the time of his disappearance along with a light grey jacket, dark trousers and brown shoes.
