South Wales Police is appealing for anyone with any information about a missing elderly man to get in touch with them as soon as possible. The family of Vivian Davies, aged 87, are said to be becoming increasingly concerned for him as he hasn't been seen since the morning of Sunday, May 21.
The latest statement from officers says: "Help Us Find: Vivian Davies, aged 87, was last seen on Maes Ty Canol, Baglan, around 8.30am on Sunday, May 21. Specialist officers have been searching for him since he was reported missing and now want to speak to a woman who may have information which could help us find Vivian.
"It is believed that sometime between 5.30pm to 6pm yesterday evening, Monday, May 22, an elderly man was found to have fallen over on the cycle path from Cwmavon that leads to Pontrhydyfen - it's the path between Piggery Bridge and the Gorad Bridge. We understand that the man who had fallen was helped by an unknown woman."
