The family of a missing 72-year-old are "very concerned" for his welfare and are "anxious to locate him."
Gardai are appealing for help in the search for Patrick (Paddy) Freer who has been missing from his home in Kilkenny since yesterday, 23 September.
Gardai say he may have travelled to Dublin. Patrick is described as having grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a green jacket.

A garda spokesman said: "Patrick's family are very concerned for his welfare and are anxious to locate him. It's understood he may have travelled to Dublin.
"Anyone with information on Patrick's whereabouts are asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on (056) 777 5000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
