The family of a Dublin "miracle baby" with Spina Bifida are appealing for the public's help with their vital fundraising efforts.
TJ McDaid Needham has been accepted for treatment in Hungary where doctors believe they can hep the little girl to walk. Claire McDaid and her partner Jay Needham received devastating news at Claire's 30-week scan, when they were told that their daughter would not ever be able to live a normal life.
They were told they should strongly consider going to England to terminate the pregnancy. However, now the Stoneybatter girl is thriving.

Her parents want to give her as much chance as possible to live a normal life and have been tirelessly fundraising for the past few months. They are ready to go to the Peto Institute in Budapest at the end of this year but fear they might run out of money while they are out there.
Doting mum Claire is asking the people of Dublin to get behind their fundraising efforts whether that means organising a quiz, doing a run or even jumping out of a plane.
She said: "She is ready to go to Budapest at the end of this year, start of next year. We are trying to get Dublin people behind TJ. If anyone wants to organise any events or anything at all just contact us.
"We were outside Croke Park fundraising at the match last weekend. We have a permit so we will be out again in our lanyards this Sunday again.
"The sooner the better TJ gets to Budapest. When we go over there, we don't want to be running out.
"We have to consider paying for accommodation and things like that. I know a few people that have went out there and they have all ran out of money. You have to pay up front before you go out.
"It's worth it, she will come back home walking. She deserves as much of a right to walk as anybody else. If we run out of money out there we will have to fundraise again.
"I just hope by this time next year she will be up on her feet."
