A family has spoken of their devastation after they watched their much-loved son die in front of them.
Nicola Ellison had her world turned upside down when she received a call saying that her brother Adam had been stabbed and she needed to get to the hospital immediately. Along with her mum and sister, Nicola watched on as doctors desperately tried to resuscitate Adam, describing it as "the most horrendous thing I've ever seen".
When medics explained there was nothing more they could do, she remembers her mum Joyce screaming in pain.
