A Love Island contestant has received some unexpected support whilst on the ITV dating show. Fishmonger Luca Bish has come under fire following the fallout from the villa's 'Movie Night, where he flipped out after watching clips of Gemma, 19, flirting with another boy during Casa Amor.
After watching a clip, the islander said: ": "I’m telling you now, I don’t even want to speak to her. "I’m f***ing fuming. I am not going f***ing near that bird mate. Bring me a f***ing bird in, watch me then flirt. Trust me when I say, if she wants to play it down to me I will f***ing explode. I can’t be with someone like that, sorry."
He then pointed to his tattoo snake and said: "See this tattoo on my chest, that’s what she is." Gemma said she didn't see anything wrong in what he had seen and denied entertaining the flirty advances of Billy Brown, and the pair seem to be back on good terms reports The Manchester Evening News.

In addition to his reaction over Gemma, Luca also received backlash over his treatment of Tasha Ghouri. He was heard saying 'Tasha who?' in a clip from Casa Amor whilst giggling with the boys, and then he repeated the comment with a smile on his face.
His parents have since been on social media to issue an apology, and state that they "don't condone" his behaviour. It was messaged on Luca's account which is currently being run by his 23-year-old sister.
It read: "I want to apologise on behalf of Luca for his insensitive reaction on last night's episode. I know that when he watches it back, he will be embarrassed and deeply apologetic.
"We as his family don't condone his behaviour last night, but we do understand he is in an intense environment where his actions are heightened. Last night was not reflective of the boy we all know and love at home.
"Please be aware death threats and nasty comments totally overstep the mark and something we as a family should not have to ensure, for this reason we have turned off the comments and messages."
Australian singer-songwriter Nick Cave has since spoken out in support of Luca's family, writing them an emotional letter and praising them for the support they are giving their son. In 2015, Nick and his wife Susie tragically lost their teenage son after he fell from a cliff top in Brighton, reports The Daily Mirror.
Nick revealed that he has a close bond with Luca's parents, as Luca was friends with his beloved son before he passed. In the letter, he explained how Maria, Luca's mother, "turned up on our doorstep with a tray of lasagne and basically looked after us."
Seven years later, Michael, Luca's father and fellow fishmonger, still "brings fresh fish around to our house", wrote Nick. He also stated: "At the moment, the defining difference between Susie and me is that she watches Love Island, and I don’t. Susie watches Love Island because we know one of the contestants, Luca.
"Luca was a school friend of our twins, Arthur and Earl. As a consequence, Susie and I became friends with Luca’s parents, Maria and Michael.
"Maria is an antique dealer. Michael is a fishmonger. Luca is a fishmonger, too." He added: "After Arthur died, in the early days of that terrible, chaotic first week, Maria turned up on our doorstep with a tray of lasagne and basically looked after us.
"She was the one constant through a time of horror and confusion, when scores of despairing and commiserating people came and went. We will never forget her kindness.
"Even in the first week, when the world seemed suddenly and shockingly defined by an unspeakable and distorting cruelty, Maria reminded us that there was good in the world. She also served as a lesson in how to deal with grieving people – you don’t need to say anything, just do something; make them a cup of tea, cook them dinner."
Nick ended his letter by joking he is looking forward to when Luca wins the series as it means he will get his TV back. He wrote: "Susie watches Love Island and cheers him on. And hopes that he will win. I also hope that Luca wins, and wins soon, because then I can get the f**king TV back."
