The family of slain mobster David Byrne have paid tribute to him on the seventh anniversary of his death at the Regency Hotel.
Byrne’s parents and siblings left floral tributes and blue balloons with his pictures on them at the scene of where he was gunned down while attending a boxing weigh-in event in February 2016. Blue balloons were also left by his grave at Mount Jerome cemetery in south Dublin.
Byrne was blasted to death as he attended the Clash of the Clans boxing event alongside drugs cartel boss Daniel Kinahan at the Regency Hotel on February 5, 2016.
