Family left speechless by vet's heartfelt letter after beloved dog put to sleep

A family has shared a heartfelt letter they received from their vets after their 18-year-old family dog was put to sleep.

Devastated after saying their final goodbyes, the family were struggling to come to terms with the death of their special pet Sunny, the Mirror reports.

But shortly after, they were sent a letter from an 'angel' named Helper, who said they have been looking after their pup in heaven.
