A family were left 'mortified' after being thrown out of a pantomime because of their six-week-old baby.
John Goddard bought his wife a £50 voucher for the Liverpool Empire Theatre on Valentines Day in 2022, the Liverpool Echo reports. As the voucher was due to expire, the 35-year-old decided to buy tickets for the matinee performance of Mother Goose Show as they had a baby and wanted to take him along.
The family arrived at the theatre on Wednesday (March 1) to see the show and sat down in their seats after passing 'multiple members of staff'. But ten minutes before the panto was due to start, after the family had bought a programme and snacks for the snow, staff told them they would have to leave as everyone 'staring and whispering'.
