A family who made a desperate appeal for information regarding their sister, who had been missing since attending Gerry Cinnamon 's concert at Hampden Park on Saturday, July 16, have confirmed she has been found safe and well. Louise Strain, from Glasgow, had not been in contact with family or friends since the gig, that saw over 50,000 revellers descened on the National Stadium.
The 32-year-old's phone and belongings were also missing, but they were later handed over to Hampden Park security staff. Her sister Josslyn has now confirmed Louise has been found safe and well.
Louise's photo had been shared on local Facebook groups in the hope that the public might have more information on her whereabouts. Several people who also went to the gig have said they saw Louise, who was using crutches and had bandages on her left knee, inside Hampden at different points during the evening.
A Police Scotland spokesperson previously said: "I can confirm that Louise Strain was reported missing this afternoon and enquiries are being carried out to trace her."
