A pub with "strong potential" needs a new operator. The Cross Keys, in Arnold, is described as an "already successful business" by owners Stonegate.
The largest pub company in the UK is advertising for someone to run the community local, in Front Street, which has a guide rent of £558 per week and potential annual turnover of £455,000. The traditional-looking pub has two trading areas and offers TV sports and games, including pool. There's also a beer garden and private accommodation consisting of two bedrooms.
The pub has a number of glowing reviews, complimenting the staff, the food and the atmosphere. One woman said it was "better than some of the pubs on the strip." A reviewer commented: "Everyone behind the bar was very well mannered, especially the three lads working the night shift. Service was lovely and the place really gives that family friendly vibe. Will be coming back again in the near future."

There was more praise from a mum who visited with her little boy for a cooling drink during the heatwave. She said: "A very lovely outside seating area with and without shade which I have enjoyed very much. I do love that the pub is kid friendly!
"Good service on the bar and a lovely selection of drinks and food to have dinner. I would definitely recommend to go have a dinner and a drink on a nice sunny day."
Stonegate's regional manager said: "The Cross Keys is a good opportunity for a publican who wants to be the personality and hub at the centre of the community."
