Dad killed in Storm Malik motorway crash as family pay tribute

A lorry driver who died in a motorway crash during Storm Malik has been identified as a 32-year-old father from Liverpool.

Bogdan Popa was involved in the two-vehicle crash on the M74 in Lanarkshire, Scotland at around 7.50am on Saturday.

The Romanian national had been travelling northbound before he crashed onto the other side of the carriageway and collided with a southbound car.
