Family 'broken' by dad's 'foolish' actions as daughter killed in crash

A 'broken' family said a dad's 'foolish actions' led to the death of him and his 13-year-old daughter.

Daniel Roberts and his daughter Lacie Jade Roberts were killed when his BMW smashed into LyonsDen Fitness in Flintshire at around 2.30am on April 22. Three other people were seriously injured in the crash and police are appealing for any witnesses or those who have dashcam footage to come forward.

Lacie's family have said her dad Daniel, was meant to "protect her from harm" not "endanger her life", North Wales Live reports. Flint High School pupil, Lacie, was described as a "little angel" by her grieving mum, Kieley Messham, who was separated from Daniel.
