A Florida family brought all of their dogs and a TikTok-famous baby donkey into their bedroom to stay safe and warm during already-lethal Hurricane Milton.
Cash is a young donkey that has amassed a large following on TikTok after his owner, Sara Weldon began sharing videos of him on her farm in Clermont, Florida.
Mostly, Cash is filmed wandering around "Our Simple Homestead" farm, and has since acquired so many fans he even has his own book. Fans are especially fond of Cash's birth story of resilience.
"Born in the winter of 2024, Cash arrived at the farm under challenging conditions," a note on the farm's website reads. "Emma, his mother, gave birth prematurely, leaving him vulnerable. Rick and Sara stepped in with love and determination, feeding him the essential colostrum to ensure his Survival. As Cash grew stronger, he formed bonds with the farm's dogs and became a social media sensation."
In a new TikTok video that has amassed over 5 million views, Weldon is seen sitting on her bed, surrounded by dogs and Cash, as they take shelter from the hurricane.
"There's Cash," said the cameraperson in the now-viral video. "Cash is safe."
Despite the seriousness of the situation, fans of the baby donkey can't get enough of the content and have expressed much relief to know the family and Cash are all safe.
