A heartbroken family have blasted the 'foolish' actions of a dad who was killed in a car crash alongside his 13-year-old daughter. Daniel Roberts and Lacie Jade Roberts were both killed when their BMW smashed into a gym in Flintshire, North Wales, in the early hours of April 22.
Heartbroken relatives said dad Daniel was supposed to "protect her from harm" not "endanger her life" as they paid tribute to the teenager, North Wales Live reports. Police are investigating the collision, which happened near the junction of the A548 with the A5026 at Bagillt and left three others in hospital with injuries described as serious.
Lacie, a pupil at Flint High School, was described as a "little angel" with the "prettiest green eyes you would ever see." Her grieving mum, Kieley Messham, who was separated from Daniel, said: "I love her so much, I need her back. I just need her to be OK.. life will never be right again."
