Hundreds gathered for a vigil in Rossfield, Tallaght this evening in loving memory of siblings Lisa Cash, 18, and twins Christy and Chelsea Cawley, 8, who died in Tallaght on Sunday.
This evening, family members, friends, and neighbours gathered near the home in Rossfield Estate to release balloons and light candles in memory of the children. As one, the gathered crowd released blue, purple, and pink balloons in honour of Lisa, Christy and Chelsea, as music was played for the crowd.
It comes as a fundraiser has been set up to help the family torn apart by the tragic killings in Tallaght. Martin McDonagh has helped organise a GoFundMe campaign with a target of €5000, with the proceeds going towards the family of 18-year-old Lisa Cash and 8-year-old Chelsea and Christy Cawley.

Martin said Lisa, Chelsea and Christy’s mother is in “total shock” following the loss of her three children. Her 14-year-old son was also injured and was hospitalised in the aftermath. A man in his 20s was arrested following the ordeal and remains in Garda custody.
People have left tributes on the GoFundMe page in memory of the three young people. St Aidan’s, the school which Chelsea and Christy attended, released a statement expressing their sympathies and said that counselling would be provided to their fellow pupils and school staff who are in mourning.
The principal of the school where 18-year-old Lisa Cash attended spoke to RTE Morning Ireland this morning describing her as an honest person full of integrity. Kevin Shortall at St Aidan's Community School said Lisa was very highly regarded among the students and teachers at her school.
"All day yesterday people were sending me messages about Lisa,” he said. “Lisa was a quiet, beautiful young girl. Very diligent, hard working, got on well with her work. She was a great support to her friends in times of trouble. I heard that from a number of people yesterday."
