Families of Israeli hostages accuse Netanyahu of 'complete deception' as Gaza ceasefire collapses

The families of hostages held in Gaza have accused Benjamin Netanyahu of “deception” after Israel launched airstrikes on the enclave, collapsing a ceasefire deal.

Mr Netanyahu’s office said the airstrikes, which Palestinian health authorities said killed more than 400 people, were carried out because of Hamas’s “refusal to release our hostages".
