ESPN personality Mike Greenberg is a long-suffering Jets fan who has not hidden his excitement about Aaron Rodgers joining his team this offseason. Months of anticipation and hope were snuffed for Greenberg, however, when Aaron Rodgers’s season was ended on his first drive against the Bills Monday night and it has since been reported he tore his left Achilles.
Greenberg, who hosts ESPN’s Get Up, couldn’t even get through his opening monologue Tuesday morning without professing his complete disappointment.
“Alright, I can’t do this,” Greenberg said in the middle of his introduction. “Kill the music, kill the graphics, kill the video. I can’t pretend this is alright.”

Greenberg went on to rant about his devastation as a Jets fan and spoke about his reaction to the news. It’s worth noting that fans got to see him fall apart live on X, formerly known as Twitter, during the Monday Night Football game.

Somehow, New York was able to pull off the miraculous win thanks to a walk-off punt return from rookie Xavier Gipson in overtime, but Greenberg and the rest of Jets fans feel like anything but winners this Tuesday morning.
