It says on the site: "With iconic locations in London’s Mayfair and Miami’s glittering Brickell district, we are delighted to introduce Sexy Fish’s third sister restaurant in 2023, situated in the heart of Spinningfields.

"With our high-end glamour, surrealist décor, and opulent culinary majesty inspired by the oceans of Asia, Sexy Fish will also offer an exclusive late-night experience, allowing guests to enjoy incredible entertainment, as well as food and drink options, until the early hours."

Sexy Fish is part of Caprice holdings, which also owns The Ivy. It opened its enormous three-storey restaurant in Spinningfields back in 2019 which has gone on to be a huge success for the London brand - reportedly Manchester is one of the busiest Ivy restaurants in its portfolio.

Caprice launched its first Sexy Fish in Mayfair in 2015. There, the interiors are famed for being decorated with artwork by Turner Prize-winning Damien Hirst.

The restaurant has become known as a haunt of the rich and famous and boasts a menu featuring the like "sexy fruits de mer", oysters and wagyu beef. Naturally there's a vast range of sexy sushi to try too, and its known for its dazzling array of cocktails.

The Manchester news was announced on Sexy Fish's original accounts too, with the caption: "Welcome in the family @sexyfish_manchester". Comments to the post included: "Yessss this is going to be incredible", "One for the list" and "This is HUGE".

Sexy Fish Manchester has already started its recruitment for the new site. The careers page on its website says: "We are always on the lookout for high-calibre, enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join our team.

"With our highly anticipated launch in Manchester's Spinningfields, there has never been a more exciting time to join the team. We are committed to providing an environment for our employees to develop and progress within their role and to achieve their careers goals."

There are said to be a "diverse range of roles" to apply for.
