Falkirk residents urged to surrender firearms as part of Police Scotland campaign

Residents across the Falkirk district are being urged to surrender their firearms and ammunition, as part of a Police Scotland campaign.

People in possession, for which they do not hold a valid certificate, will be able to hand these to police until Sunday May 29.

In addition to being able to hand in firearms and ammunition, the public will be able to hand over replica firearms, air weapons, BB guns, imitation firearms, component parts and other ballistic items.
