Falkirk Council tenants face 2% rent increase from April

Falkirk council rent is set to rise by 2 per cent this year.

Councillors also agreed to spend £347 million over the next five years to carry out improvements to existing homes and provide additional homes.

A meeting of Falkirk Council today (Wednesday) agreed to the programme which will see £38.7 million being spent this year alone on improvements to around 6800 properties.
