Falkirk cops issue fresh warning to residents over Apply Pay scam

Police in Falkirk are again asking residents to be on their guard over an Apply Pay scam.

Officers say people are receiving a text message to their mobile phone to say the option linked to their device has been suspended.

The message reads: "Your apple pay has been suspended please update details via", with a website link attached.

However, cops say you should not click on the link.

Taking to Twitter, Falkirk Police said: "Have you received a text saying your Apple Pay has been suspended?

"Don't click on links in unexpected texts - the link in this message leads to a legitimate-looking website which asks you to enter your personal and account details in order to 'reactivate your wallet'.
