The Atlanta Falcons have one preseason game left before the NFL’s cut deadline arrives on August 27. Before we look ahead to Friday’s finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars, let’s take one final look back at Saturday’s 13-12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Falcons wide receiver Chris Blair led the way with a four-catch, 91-yard performance. Blair also led the team with a Pro Football Focus grade of 91.9 in preseason Week 2. Atlanta is thin at the wide receiver position after losing Rondale Moore for the season.
Blair’s big game gives him a legit chance to make the 53-man roster out of training camp. Defensive back Natrone Brooks also played some of his best football against the Ravens, leading the team in tackles and recording a PFF grade of 89.6.
Rookie linebacker JD Bertrand finished third with an 88.4 PFF grade in Saturday’s loss. Wide receiver Jesse Matthews (85.6) and offensive lineman Barry Wesley (83.6) were also among the team’s highest-rated players, as you can see below:

The Falcons take on the Jaguars this Friday at 7:00 p.m. inside Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The team already ruled out first-round pick Michael Penix Jr., so expect to see a heavy dose of John Paddock and Taylor Heinicke.
