Strength of schedule can sometimes be a misleading stat but it hasn’t been for the Falcons thus far in 2023. Atlanta came into the year with the NFL’s easiest schedule on paper, and that’s still the case 12 weeks into the season.
It appears the team will catch another break in Week 13 when they face the New York Jets on the road. Jets head coach Robert Saleh said quarterback Tim Boyle will get the start against Atlanta next Sunday.
Saleh: "Yeah, we're giving Timmy a chance to roll again next week."

Boyle, 29, has gone 0-4 in his four NFL starts. The Falcons faced Boyle back in 2021 when the QB was playing for the Detroit Lions. For his career, Boyle has 786 passing yards, four touchdowns and 11 interceptions, while completing 63.5 percent of his passes.
The Jets benched Zach Wilson two weeks ago and they’ve struggled since quarterback Aaron Rodgers went down in Week 1. New York is currently in third place in the AFC East with a 4-7 record.
