As free agency slows down and the draft process picks up, NFL teams are doing their due diligence on this year’s draft class. All options must be considered since you never know what’s going to happen on draft day.
On Monday, it was reported that the Atlanta Falcons met with Northwestern defensive lineman Adetomiwa Adebawore, and now it appears the team has another top-30 visit scheduled. NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe is reporting that the Falcons will meet with Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson in April.
Anthony Richardson has top-30 visits in April scheduled with Panthers (pick #1), Colts (4), Raiders (7), Falcons (8) and Titans (11), per sources.
Richardson is in Gainesville this week ahead of his Florida pro day Thursday, final of top QB prospects to make their pro day mark.

The Gators QB is one of the most polarizing prospects in the entire draft, mostly due to his combination of elite tools and extremely raw ability. Richardson put on a show at the NFL Scouting Combine. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Richardson ran a 4.43 in the 40-yard dash, while displaying elite arm strength.
The Falcons signed Taylor Heinicke to a two-year, $14 million contract. Plus, second-year QB Desmond Ridder returns as the likely starter. While it looks like the team is set at quarterback, it makes sense for Atlanta to do its research on this year’s crop of signal-callers.
Richardson threw for 2,549 passing yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions for the Gators in 2022, while adding 654 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the ground.
