The Atlanta Falcons open the 2023 NFL preseason on the road against the Miami Dolphins on August 11, but the two teams will meet a few days before that for some joint practice sessions.
Miami will host Atlanta for two joint practices, the first of which takes place on August 8 and the second is on August 9, according to NFL Network reporter Cameron Wolfe.

The Falcons have participated in joint practices the last two offseasons under head coach Arthur Smith. Last year, the team held sessions with the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets.
Atlanta’s three-game preseason schedule also includes matchups against the Cincinnati Bengals on August 18, and the Pittsburgh Steelers on August 24.
