Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson was named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team on Tuesday. The former No. 8 overall pick out of Texas racked up 1,464 all-purpose yards this season for Atlanta. While the Falcons failed to end their postseason drought, there’s no denying Robinson’s contributions on offense.
The Pro Football Writers of America voted Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud the 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year, and teammate Will Anderson was named Defensive Rookie of the Year. Check out the full PFWA All-Rookie offense below:
The All-Rookie team offense is made up of Stroud at quarterback, the Detroit Lions’ Jahmyr Gibbs and Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson at running back, the Minnesota Vikings’ Jordan Addison and the Los Angeles Rams’ Puka Nacua at wide receiver, Detroit’s Sam LaPorta at tight end, the New York Jets’ Joe Tippmann at center, the Rams’ Steve Avila and the Buffalo Bills’ O’Cyrus Torrance at guard and the Cleveland Browns’ Dawand Jones and the Chicago Bears’ Darnell Wright at tackle. — Pro Football Writers of America
Robinson rushed for 976 yards and four rushing touchdowns on 214 carries, with another 487 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 58 catches.
