Running backs like Bijan Robinson don’t enter the draft very often, and when they do, NFL teams will often throw their positional value charts out the window. That was the case when the Atlanta Falcons selected Robinson with the No. 8 overall pick.
The hype surrounding the former Texas star continues to grow with each memorable performance. In Week 2, Robinson racked up 172 all-purpose yards in a 25-24 Falcons win over the Packers.
Those around the NFL, including former Steelers defensive back Ryan Clark, can see greatness in the rookie running back.
On an episode of The CW’s “Inside The NFL,” Clark compared Robinson to Chargers legend LaDainian Tomlinson. Watch the clip below, as shared by Clark’s Twitter account.
Yes, I did it… I compared @Bijan5Robinson to @LT_21. LaDainian Tomlinson Is one of the best running backs to ever play the game, & I see similarities in Bijan Robinson. The speed, vision, one cut to jump cut ability, & the power all match…

After two games, Robinson is second in the NFL with 180 rushing yards. We’ll see if the rookie has any Barry Sanders in him when the Falcons take on the Lions in Week 3.
