Falcons defensive lineman Grady Jarrett made headlines over the weekend after he was called for a highly questionable roughing the passer penalty on Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady during Sunday’s 21-15 loss.
While most agreed the call was bogus, the controversy surrounding Jarrett’s fourth-quarter sack has overshadowed just how good of a game he played.
Jarrett forced four hurried throws and racked up two QB hits, helping him earn Atlanta’s highest overall Pro Football Focus grade (87.4) in Week 5. On the offensive side, right guard Chris Lindstrom led the way with an offensive grade of 78.2.
