After being snubbed for the 2023 Pro Bowl, Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson got some recognition from his peers Wednesday when he was named the starting kick returner for the first-ever Players’ All-Pro Team.
Unlike the NFL’s All-Pro and Pro Bowl teams, the Players’ All-Pro Team is voted on exclusively by players, as the NFLPA’s official website explains:
Patterson broke an NFL record with his ninth career kick return for a 103-yard touchdown during Atlanta’s win over the Bears in Week 11. He averaged 31.6 yards per kick return this season, with one touchdown on nine attempts.
