The Atlanta Falcons have a top-10 pick for the second year in a row, but unlike in 2021, there’s less clarity as to which prospects will be available at No. 8 overall. Three quarterbacks went in the first three picks of last year’s draft, while there isn’t even a clear-cut No. 1 option in 2022.
As you would expect, the mock draft projections are all over the place. Pro Football Focus released a new mock which has the Falcons taking a cornerback, but it’s not Derek Stingley or Ahmad Gardner.
PFF’s Steve Palazzolo projects Washington’s Trent McDuffie to Atlanta in round one.
