Donald Trump is mulling whether to allow the U.S. military to livestream the firing squad execution of Nidal Hasan and reportedly asking his advisers whether he should go along with the plan.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wants the public to watch the killing of Hasan, who killed 13 people and injured 32 others at the Fort Hood military base in 2009. Hegseth wants to “make sure” anyone can see it, and a self-described Christian nationalist pastor who leads the controversial church Hegseth attends has endorsed the idea.
