Fair City star Lynseyann Mulvey has said yes after her boyfriend and fellow TV personality Karl Bowe proposed.
While away in Italy, the former Mr Ireland surprised the Carrigstown star who says she was 'clueless' over his plans to pop the question.
Lynseyann recently joined the Fair City cast to play the character of Kira Cassidy who is back in Carrigstown after nearly 20 years.

Lynseyann told RSVP Live : "We are happily engaged. Everyone always asks me if I knew he was going to propose but I had no idea. I was clueless. Fair play to him, he planned it so well and I was none the wiser.
"We planned a little trip to Rome back in April and we had a fabulous room with a balcony complete with champagne and candles.
"He would be romantic enough so this wouldn’t be out of the ordinary.
"Karl had it all set out for sunset and it was the proposal of dreams. He pulled out all the stops, he was amazing."
Lynseyann has big boots to fill on Fair City, taking over the role of Kira Cassidy, the ex-girlfriend of Mondo O'Connell and mother of teenager Juliet. Viewers last saw Kira when she left Dublin after her teenage pregnancy for a life in Liverpool.
She said: "She is brilliant to play because, obviously, she has come back to Carrigstown as an adult. It is a new era for her and she has her own storylines. She is a completely different character."
Playing Kira is a big task for Lynseyann because she has never done a TV show like this before.
The Dublin native said: "I was very nervous before I joined the show because I had never done anything on this scale before.
"I didn’t know what to expect on set, but it has been phenomenal so far.
"The cast and crew are really helpful and they have all helped me to settle in. Everything has been positive so far."
Lynseyann's timing couldn't be better as the storylines heat up in the lead up to Christmas on the show. What will happen with Mondo and Juliet?
She said: "Kira is a complex character and there are so many layers to her. She is very misunderstood and she has a lot going on with Mondo and Juliet.
"Whenever I get my script I don’t know which Kira I am going to get. Viewers should definitely tune in because there is a lot going on with her."
